(UMDI – UNMONDODITALIANI) “That’s right in the more than six years since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, 20 million adults have gained health coverage. Now – Bess Evans, Senior Associate Director of Public care actEngagement and Senior Policy Advisor at The White House declares – for the first time ever, more than 90 percent of Americans have health insurance. And the Affordable Care Act has improved coverage and lowered costs for the more than 80 percent of Americans who had insurance before the law was passed. In 2017, 72 percent of Americans who get coverage on HealthCare.gov will be able to find a plan for less than 75 dollars a month. As open enrollment begins on November 1, all of us can help spread the word to friends, family, and loved ones and let them know it’s time to join the millions of Americans getting covered during the next three months.”

“Here’s – Bess Evans concludes – a big way you can be a part of it: join the call tomorrow at 4:30 pm ET with President Obama and Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell on how we can help friends and family get covered in the Health Insurance Marketplace. Or if you can’t make the call, you can also listen in, or listen later, right here. Thanks!”
